Quilchena Golf and Country Club

A private golf course in Richmond, BC

It is expected that all guests are accompanied by a Member, adhere to our guest policies, and conduct themselves in a reasonable manner to ensure an excellent golfing experience for all.

Dress Code

The intention of our dress code policy is to establish guidelines that Members and their guests are expected to follow, using discretion and good judgement. Each Member is responsible for adhering to the dress code and ensuring that their family members and guests do the same.

The fundamental concept of the dress code is respect. Respect for other Members, and respect for the Club and its traditions itself. The Board of Directors has instructed the General Manager, the Golf Professionals and their staff to administer these rules and they are empowered to refuse play on the course and/or admittance into the clubhouse facilities.

Attire on the

Golf Course

Quilchena aims to provide a relaxed and contemporary atmosphere for its Members and guests through a progressive dress policy.

Neat golf attire inspired by the professional tours is expected at all times, for example:

  • Hats and caps must be worn as they were designed
  • Denim is not permitted
  • Athletic team style attire is not permitted
  • Cargos, cut-off shorts, sweats and other obviously non-golf attire is not permitted
  • Any clothing with offensive slogans is not permitted
  • It is in all our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual yet smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions on the course and enjoyment of the clubhouse. Club management is empowered by the Board to inform, educate and if necessary to enforce the dress policy.

Clubhouse

Neat, smart casual attire inspired by contemporary fashion is expected at all times, for example:

  • For men, hats and caps are not permitted on the second floor except for the outside decks (exceptions for medical)
  • Denim is permitted
  • Athletic team style attire is not permitted
  • Any clothing with offensive slogans is not permitted

General Information

Wireless Devices

Wireless devices must not be used as telephones in the dining areas of the clubhouse. Such devices may be used in the lounges, if it is not disruptive to other Members.

Wireless devices must be kept on silent mode when taken on the golf course.

Pace of Play

Pace of play: 4 hours 15 minutes

We encourage all golfers to be mindful of their pace, keeping up with the group ahead and allowing faster groups to play through when appropriate. Our team is dedicated to supporting an enjoyable and efficient golf experience for everyone.

Check-in Info

Please arrive at Quilchena 15-30 minutes prior to your tee-time and check in at the Golf Shop, located on the first floor on the northwest end of the clubhouse.
